Cartoons aside, are these movies any good?

I bought the first set and only wateched two of the films, and wasn't too impressed to be honest. I was expecting sort of Don Knotts meets schlocky 60s teen beach movie fun-light humor, but never really got into it that much.

I watched Glass Bottom Boat cause Tashlin directed it and that was supposedly (from feedback I'd gotten) among the best of the bunch. It was okay for what it was, quite passable, if not forgettable altogether. The best part about the DVD was the bonus cartoon.

I'm wondering if these films are on par, or perhaps any better? Would anyone recommend the collection for the movies alone?

I'm obviously not a huge Doris Day fan... but I am partial to fun 60s flicks. What's the verdict?

My sister is a Doris Day fanatic so I bought her "Under the Glass Bottom Boat" for her birthday. I killed 2 birds with one stone one that one I don't like those movies much either but comedys were rosy like that back then and everybody loved that Doris gal.

Why are some shorts in red? Because they've never been released?
