I'm going to buy the Pink Panther set, too. By the way, it comes out the same day (July 26) as the third season "Gilligan's Island" box set, which I also plan to buy.

YESSS!!!
I'm so happy the buyout didn't effect this release, I was confident it'd come... and for those that were cautioned - FULLSCREEN!  I can finally retire my laserdisc transfers and poor quality video tape recordings! I can't wait to pick this up, I'm so excited!!!

Anything is better than that Jet Pink DVD release.
Does anyone know if Tijuana Toads, Mister Jaw, The Inspector, or Ant & The Aardvark will be released or part of this collection??

I'd guess no.
but the first Ant & Aardvark cartoon along with the first Inspector cartoon are both available as extras on the bonus disc that comes with The Pink Panther Film Collection dvd set.

Fullscreen? If that is true, then I can't understand why the UK and Europe got cropped versions instead.
