Interesting choice list. At least CN cares to don't trying to repeated the same shorts over and over again. I can recognise a lot of saturday mornings favourites on it but i just hope the ratings will be good for bring them back on CN for good.
Others cartoons will be airing during this marathon: The Honey-Mousers (8am) Hare Trigger (1pm) Little Red Riding Rabbit (1pm) Broomstick Bunny (2pm) Dr. Jerkyl's Hide (3pm) Mexican Boarders (6pm) Hollywood Daffy (5pm) Duck Amuck (6pm) Feed the Kitty (10am) Scaredy Cat (11am) Beanstalk Bunny (12pm)

Thanks, Bugsy. I have to agree, this is an interesting variety of cartoons. Should be fun marathon. Unless it's a typo (and they meant "Stupor Duck"), "Superior Duck" makes its US television debut during the 5pm hour.

Hmm... I honestly don't know what to think of this list. If I were the one choosing this list I'd stay away from the lesser '60s cartoons like "Devil's Feud Cake", but that's just me. Oh well, there are still a lot of good cartoons here and like everyone else has said it should be interesting.

That seems like a pretty good selection of cartoons, but they could branch it out and provide cartoons from a variety of eras. There are a lot of great cartoons from the 30s and 40s that they could be airing.
I'm not trying to nitpick here. I just think the general public could be exposed to the Warner cartoons from all eras.

not a bad line up, not as long a run as was on last years
marrathon, but still good. a lot of the toons on this line up didnt' air in last years run. I noticed that they are running What's Opera this year, I am not sure if it ran last year or not. I am not a fan of this one myself cause it was way overplayed on CBS when they ran the BB/RR hour for over 10 yrs. Not to mention CN would run it alot, especially in 01 right after the events of 9/11. ( they were airing alot of United style cartoons as well as the ones most remembered at that time ). I am hoping that CN keeps LT/MM on there home station, and maybe start to bring back a few other classics to the Network, as well as permently retired shows like a pup named schooby doo. I love to see flintstones, LT/mm, first 2 season of schooby, Jetsons (pre 85 episdoes complete), and woody make a return to CN as well as MGM library of tex avery toons, plus Popeye (but I am dreaming here) let see waht comes up on cn in 2010.. |

A pretty good selection of toons, but I liked last year's line-up better.
However, I will set my DVR to record the marathon so I can watch it over the weekend. And I agree, these cartoons need to stay on CN's schedule, and some other classic programs deserve to be back on that channel as well.

A nice selection. Last years' marathon was a "best of" compilation, this seems to be a "best of the rest" compilation. Nice to see two of my all-time favorites, "Feline Frameup" and "Mexican Boarders" on the list!
