I have been told that this marathon is a ONE-TIME SPECIAL EVENT and that viewership of this stunt will determine if CN will do more with the Looney Tunes in 2009.

Well, it looks like WB and CN finally reached an agreement to show the post-48 cartoons (along with the Sunset/Guild package).

In other words, air the LT cartoons as they were originally released. I appreciate being able to watch them on TV again, but eventually CN needs to stop censoring them.

Wow! No double dipping either. They could have easily just assembled 20 cartoons and play those over and over throughout the day. But they didn't. I think that certainly shows that there is a level of respect from the people doing this.

Nielsen families were probably told NOT to watch this.

It is true they they are sometimes told what to watch and what not.

Well, actually, that was me ... I've been telling them to save their energies for the upcoming Terrytoons Marathon on Nickelodeon.

But seriously, may this be the first of many more Looney Tunes banner days (and nights) at CN!
