[QUOTE=speedy fast]This would make a good disc:
There's also "The Super Snooper" and "Design for Leaving". Personally, I'd rather see those over "Feather Finger" and "Daffy's Diner", although those other two DFE shorts I wouldn't mind having included. |

It's still a ways away, but when the Popeye set comes out, there's an ad on it for LTGC vol. 5...it's going to be interesting from the looks of what they showed.

Two things before I can do that.
1. I completely suck at remembering individual titles on these things. 2. Let's make sure the mods are cool with it before I do so. I don't want to "spoil" news before it's intended to be out there.

Okay well, here goes. Remember, I have never been one to remember individual titles of shorts, no matter how hard I try. The scenes, in order are:
And that's it. Just from the various Red Riding Hoods I'm seeing here and the Cinderella spoof, I'm guessing there'll be a disc with some fairy tell type spoofs on it.

So far I got these ones. However, the ones that I did not include could be more titles. For example,the bit with Sam could be in "Buccaneer Bunny" or "Captain Hareblower". Gotta look with more attention. Let's see if fellow GACers can help.
Post the titles only when you are 100% sure. Don't star rumors .I'll update soon this post b&w Porky saying “now if you'll all be quiet we'll start the show” (PORKY'S PREVIEW) little blond Little Red Riding Hood skipping along a sidewalk (LITTLE RED WALKING HOOD) sylvester dressed in gramma's clothes Daffy leaning on a desk saying “Have tux, will travel” b&w Daffy in WWI war helmet going “woo woo!” (WHAT PRICE PORKY?) caveman Porky about to strike a small spotted animal that hits him instead (PREHISTORIC PORKY) Sylvester running trying to keep up with a bus (RED RIDING HOODWINKED) Bugs cutting “fat” Elmer's suspenders, revealing girdle (THE WACKY WABBIT) Elmer as hotel manager getting punched through the phone (A PEST IN THE HOUSE) someone slapping a “censored” sticker on a yellow-orange cat's mouth pirate Sam opening a ship door, getting shot by cannon Daffy in ragged “Bugs” suit screaming for Make-up (A STAR IS BORED) Jones-era Elmer firing wildly into forest and sky “old” Elmer and Bugs, Bugs is “dying” (THE OLD GREY HARE) Daffy shaking hands with a big thug dog, Daffy shocks him with a hand buzzer (THE STUPOR SALESMAN) Granny as a bus driver (RED RIDING HOODWINKED) a wolf in kinda-sorta sailor outfit holding giant slingshot, someone (too far away) putting rock in it disshelved, mad Granny dog stuff dynamite stick in Sylvester's mouth b&w parody of Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart (BACALL TO ARMS) wolf whistling causes toupee of man in front of him to blow onto man in front of both of them (BACALL TO ARMS) Sylvester trying to blow dart through a pipe into a mouse hole, female mouse blows it back into Sylvester's mouth, comes out his tail, hits wall next to Sylvester Jr. (GOLDIMOUSE AND THE THREE CATS) Porky saying he “guess I made a pig of myself” - I “think” I know which one this one is, but it's in color and I thought it was a b&w short.(PATIENT PORKY) Fairy godmother turns scraggly girl into a purse-swinging mamacita Cinderella (TOTALLY not familiar with this scene) Bullfighter with hearts in his eyes Bellboy Daffy going through a bunch of keys on a ring (A PEST IN THE HOUSE) Jones-era Bugs tying his ears around his head, “They really do make a charming couple” Bullfighter and Cinderella from above dancing Daffy in directors chair saying “quiet on the set” (HOLLYWOOD DAFFY) A femme fatale duck shooting detective Daffy in a doorway as he goes back and forth (THE SUPER SNOOPER) Bugs at make-up table “Why would anyone want to read about little ol' me?” (A STAR IS BORED) Sam diving into cannon on ship, blown away Hippo in theater (color), b&w Bogart parody tells him to sit down from screen (BACALL TO ARMS) Sylvester chasing female mouse from earlier (GOLDIMOUSE AND THE THREE CATS) A mouse in Red Riding Hood outfit placing sticks of butter on a staircase railing, Sylvester slides all the way outside (LITTLE RED RODENT HOOD) fat Porky blowing something up a gutter drain all the way to the top of a tall building (MILK AND MONEY) Daffy with dog thug from earlier “Ah, there's good news tonight!” (THE STUPOR SALESMAN) Last edited by Duck Dodgers; 07-05-2007 at 02:42 PM. |

.One disc will surely devoted to fairy tales, considering the amount of fairy tales spoofs present in the list. Quote:

Interesting list - some great cartoons on it.
Looking at the cartoons listed, I think I was incorrect about there being an Avery disc - Clampett looks to be the one getting the Director Disc. There's 6 Clampett cartoons mentioned, 7 if you count Daffy Doc from Kausler's blog entry. I also agree that there looks to be a Fairy Tales Disc - Disc four, maybe? - and that Daffy still looks likely to get a disc as well. There's not a lot of Bugs here - the Clampett ones can be on that disc, and the Star is Bored on the Daffy disc, leaving just the Bugs/Sam clips unaccounted for. Not sure if we'll get a full Bugs disc - you'd think they'd have more Bugs clips if we did. Porky's Preview and Milk & Money are the 'odd ones out' so to speak - perhaps a disc of B&W classics? And it will be lovely to see Porky's Preview uncut. This overanalysis of a third hand collection of clips is brought to you by the letters W and B, and by the number 5.
