- In other news, Abu Hassan, a member of Ali Baba's 40 Thieves best known in animation circles for temporarily leading the gang (and renaming it the "Dirty Sleeves") in one of the Popeye Color Specials, and later for being the guard of a treasure cave in Ali Baba Bunny, where he coined his catchphrase "Hassan Chop!", has died from complications related to transplants on both his arms.
He was 79 years old.
