Y'all wanna know why? It's on account of when i flashback to that day all i can think of is that CNN and other news channels constantly repeating the same footage over and over

I still remember where I was and what I was doing that day: I was walking into work at the salon, and when I got there, everyone (customer and employee) was completely transfixed at what they saw on the TV screen. I got a look at it, and I too, was in shock. A friend had come by for me that day (we closed at around noon that day), and all we could talk about was the world as we knew it having gone completely insane within just a few minutes....Were it not for the footage of the situation as it unfolded, I would find it hard to believe that something like this happened on US soil. That something like this could happen, that we were not as secure as we thought we were.

The true heroes of that day were the firefighters, the police, the relief workers, and those many civilians who risked and even sacrificed life and limb to aid those trapped inside the towers. Those are people who are more heroic than some currently popular actor or rapper or sports star any day. We can't do enough for them.

Just something that needed to be said, and your post somehow gave me impetus to share that. But reading your editorial, I do agree with you.
