About how many Chip and Dale cartoons are there? I believe there is a web site that gives this info. In the past year or two - that info was given in a thread. I ask because I have 2 (German bought) DVDs with Chip and Dale. Today in a store there appeared 3 new DVDs Vol 1, Vol 2, and Vol 3. The store also had what I had and I tried to determine duplicates but wasn't able to find any. Would appreciate any info. Names will not really help since there are times where the english and german names are quite diffferent. Appreciate any help. Thanks ahead of time.

Other than the cartoons where they co-star with Donald and Pluto, I believe Chip n' Dale starred in three of thier own.
"Chicken in the Rough" - I haven't seen this one so I don't know what its about.
"Two Chips and a Miss" - Chip n' Dale fight over a female chipmunk.
"The Lone Chipmunks" - Chip n' Dale try to bring in Pete for a $10,000 reward.

I think there's about 22, (4 with Pluto, 3 on their own, and the rest with Donald)

Chicken in the Rough is where the two critters are collecting nuts near a chicken farm, and Dale gets in trouble when one of the mother hen's eggs hatch early.

Chip and Dale also appeared in a TV series "Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers", but I don't know if Disney would put these in compilations with the theatrical cartoons in the German market. In the US, these have their own box sets. (I haven't seen the show, so I don't know if it's worth watching or not).

If you'd enjoy the adventures of an "alternate universe" Chip and Dale minus all of their classic trappings (humor included), sure, it's worth it. But I'd say "pass it by." :(

Thanks for the link. All the Chip&Dale on the 2 DVDs that I bought a year or two are on the list. For the cartoons that I don't have on the list, I found on Pluto-1 and Mickey Color-2. I don't have the 1951 cartoon "Test Pilot Donald". I guess that will come out with Donald-3.. The 1950 cartoon "Crazy over Daisy" but that was not on the Mickey-Color-2 ????? I see that the cartoon has Donald Duck - will this be on Donald-3???

When I was in the store today, there are 3 volumes of Chip & Dale, each with 6 or 7 cartoons - total of 20 which are not on the "list". Could these be the ones that Debbie mentioned??

You mean the 3 german "Chip & Chap - Die Ritter des Rechts" DVDs? (see http://www.zeichentrickserien.de/dvd/chip.htm ). They includes only episodes of the Rescue Rangers TV series, no theatrical cartoons.

Thanks again. THAT is what I saw! Currently I am not interested in them. Another sort-of-OT. I've seen 3 box sets of Tex Avery - are these worth getting. I've sort of heard that they are not reallygood - why?

The german "Tex Avery Show" DVDs don't contain cartoons made by Tex Avery, only the awful TV Series "The Wacky World of Tex Avery" (german title "Die Tex Avery Show"), which has nothing to do with him, they just use his name.

I had to hunt in my apartment for my 2 Chip & Dale DVDs - you should see my apartment!
One thing I noticed is that the faces of Chip & Dale look very much like Brer Rabbit! Anyone else think this???
