This or That of the week

Cheese Burglar or Stooge for a Mouse
Which of these two similiar cartoons do you prefer? My vote goes to Stooge for a Mouse, given it has my favorite LT character,Sylvester.

I, too, chose Stooge For A Mouse. Great cartoon. I especially like the ending, where the over-confident mouse somehow gets his surprise (and well-deserved) come-uppance.

For the record, I somehow get the impression that Friz Freleng in particular didn't like cats. Hence the fact that he always made them losers in his cartoons (with the exception of may be the underrated Pizzicato Pussycat).

I choose Cheese Burglar. I feel a little bit too sorry for Sylvester in Stooge for a Mouse and end up wanting to crush the mouse and kick the dog around. However in Cheese Burglar, I like all three characters equally. Even Herman, whom I usually hate.
