This is very very cool. I'm glad that they played it today before Justice League (I always catch the vid since I watch Justice League). For the past few nights, they've played that annoying "Walk Around in Circles" junk. It was looking like they made new ones to play once before going back to the same old ones, like with the Toonheads episodes :rolleyes:

That was part of a series of videos Cartoon Network made for their "Groovies/Shorties" series around 1999/2000. It used animation from a PD Betty Boop cartoon, and featured the music of Soul Coughing. They also did another Soul Coughing video, "Circles", which parodied Hanna-Barbera's reused backgrounds. Boomerang now airs a few of them to death.

"Soul Coughing", by the way, is now defunct. They were kind of a blend of funk, nonsense-rhyming, and alt-rock...their only major hits were "Circles" and an earlier hit, "Super Bonbon/Let the Man Go Through". Lead singer Mike Doughty is now a solo artist, and has a darn good album called "Haughty Melodic". If you like good music, check it out.
