Hey, there had to be at least one D/S poll with this new system. :daffy:

I vote hit simply because Daffy had some hilarious facial expressions in this cartoon (particularly when peaking out of the corner while Speedy tries to make peace with him - priceless!). It also has one of the better musical scores of the post-64 cartoons IMO.

LEAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I despise nearly all of the abysmal D/S shorts and this is no exception. The gags aren't funny at all and funny Daffy facial expressions aside, they can't save this very weak and unwatchable cartoon.

Leave it. This short epitomizes everything bad about the post-64 shorts, especially the cheap animation.

This cartoon seems to be a remake of Fair Haired Hare.
It probably reuses a lot of footage, like filling the floorboards with TNT, and Daffy's house flying into the air like Sam does in that short.

The title is very misleading, it sounds like a space cartoon... but it's just a one-liner Speedy Gonzales says at the end.

Getting into a little useless debate (over an oft-considered useless cartoon), I still remember you once mentioning Daffy having "legal reason" for going after Speedy in this cartoon. And I actually kind of disagree. Yeah, it's understandable that he'd be annoyed by all the friendly mice living in his new home. But how many "talking mice" are there anyway? And Daffy didn't even attempt to make peace with Speedy. He wasn't even startled/surprised by Speedy's presence. He just started lashing out at the mouse the second he first saw him, as if he already knew him. Not to mention blowing up the entire house just to get rid of Speedy(!).

Of course, I know this cartoon probably isn't worth debating. But I thought I'd at least bring this up. :tweety:
