Who's Cookin Who or Pantry Panic?

Which of these two very similiar cartoons do you prefer?I happen to like Who Cookin Who better, mostly due to Emery Hawkins great animation.

I voted for "Pantry Panic," mainly because I've never seen such gruesome images in a cartoon before - and loved it!

"Who's Cookin' Who?", by a country mile.

Jimmie Culhane was able to take the original "Pantry Panic" and upgrade it by replacing the original crude, realistic, "gruesome" gags with more exaggerated, up-tempo, "cartoony" gags and the result is much, much, much more pleasing.

Even though the violence here is actually more extreme (the Wolf ends up getting caught in a meat grinder and gets his own face punched into a waffle iron), the gags are treated in a way that there's less shock and more of a laugh effect than in the original. Plus, it ends with the whole "It was all a dream" wrap-up which makes for a fairly better conclusion, IMHO (not to mention more humane; no innocent moose dies at the end of this one!).
