Seeing as how the day is just about through... I'd better mention this now so's I don't forget before it's too late.
Anyway, today being the 7th of June 2007 happens to be my 26th birthday!!!!! Ain't it grand????? I can't believe I've actually being on this earth for 26 years starting today!
For my presents, I got a present from my parents, Dinosaurs Seasons 3 and 4 (You know, that show with the animatronic robot dinosaurs that ran on ABC from 1991-94 with the whiny baby who would always harrass the father and yell, "Not the mama!!!!!"; I used to live, breathe, eat, and sleep that show) and, with my birthday money, I bought a little present for meself, The Best of The Police, a 2-disc set released just this year featuring some of my favorites songs of theirs such as Every Breath You Take, De Do Do Do De Da Da Da, Roxanne, Spirits in the Material World, King of Pain, Can't Stand Losing You, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, and Don't Stand So Close To Me. My only favorite of theirs that got snubbed from the release was The Bed's Too Big Without You. Other than that, it was definitely a worthwhile purchase. The Police are my favorite rock 'n' roll band. Now that they're touring Canada, I'm hoping that they'll eventually plan to tour a local city in my surrounding area; so far they've toured Vancouver, Edmonton, and Toronto... but nowhere near the Maritimes... :(
Anyway, all in all, it was a great day! To close this post, I'll knock off some of my favorite cartoons that were released on this day in history...
The Hasty Hare [WB;1952]
Mr. Money Gags [Famous;1957]
Rabbit Stew and Rabbits Too! [WB;1969, yes, I actually don't mind this!]
Clerks Episode Two [View Askew;2000, I like this too! From the short-lived animated Clerks TV series from Kevin Smith that aired VERY briefly on ABC in the early part of this decade. I have the whole six episodes on VHS; it's quite hilarious. A shame it didn't last.:( ]
