TVShowsOnDVD is reporting that Classic Media has plans to issue George of the Jungle on DVD by the end of the year:

I think you'll find Earl Kress' weblog My Name is Earl Kress (http://mynameisearlkress.com/weblog/), had this story back on April 2nd. He also had the Song of the South story at least two days before any news organization picked it up.

Yeah, I do remember Earl KRessd taslking about this.

But why is Classic Media putting George out? Wasn't the show owned by Fox?

I think that CBS/Fox just had the video rights at one point... kind of like how Disney/Buena Vista used to have the Rocky & Bullwinkle video rights back in the 1990s.
