I really like Eddie Bo's "Check Mr. Popeye" as it mentions Popeye, Bluto & Olive in the context of an early 60's ("Do The Popeye") dance record.

Hi,

Just to set the record straight the first track is really played by the California Ramblers and was issued on most of the ARC record labels (Oriole, Perfect, Cameo, ect)in 1931. The source shown is just one of those issued. But it is possibly an alternate take and it is not the stantard cartoon theme song.

I was only issued of a very short time and is on the rare side on any of the issues
