Sort of OT but maybe not: Retour de Flamme coming to USDVD through Kino

I just got an e-mail from Lobster Films stating that "an adaptation of
the DVD collection Retour de Flamme will be released in the United States by
Kino, in Fall 2007. You should have a look on their web site in
september-october, they should announce the upcoming releases."

There have been 5 releases in France featuring silent and early talkie materials, a 6th is coming. Some of these may not make it over but the animated contents in the French DVDs are (descriptions from heeza):

Have you seen "All This and Rabbit Stew" on volume 5? Is it any better than the PD print used on the Digiview DVDs in the U.S.?

I have not seen any of these DVDs. The e-mail I got was in response to a survey they sent me because I was on their mailing list. I have been aware of these for some time and have been tempted to import but when I got the survey I went ahead and asked if there was going to be any US release for these as their Charley Chase and Charley Bowers collections have been released in the US from Kino and Image. Judging from the quality of those, these will look good given their age but will be PAL to NTSC converted. I imagine a Warner DVD version would look better.
