View Full Version : Taz-Mania
There has been some cartoons from the series posted on "that-video-site-that-will-probably-pull-them-right-away"!
I decided to link to 2: "Gone with the Windbag" (co-starring Foghorn Leghorn) and "Man From M.A.R.S" (co-starring Marvin the Martian) on my blog!

Thanks for sharing those! Taz Mania was never a favorite of mine, but I loved those two episodes. I haven't seen the Marvin one in, what, 15 years?!

Interesting, these were both written by Bill Kopp, of Eek! the Cat and two of the Roger Rabbit theatricals and some of those horrific Doyletoons
I liked how Camptown Races played for Foghorn Leghorn in the Gone with the Windbag episode, like it does in every LT revival except for Space Jam and those horrific Doyletoons
Overall these episodes were pretty funny. And that's coming from someone who also wasn't big on this show

I recall another Taz-Mania with Sam Sheepdog (with Taz in the Ralph Wolf role).

Maybe I'm alone with my opinion, but I think this show was very good. Personally never really liked Taz in his LT days, he was just overrated merchandise character, but at least this show made a real potential to him to live up to the hype.
Gone with the Windbag was always my favourite episodes, and the only time where I like Foghorn Leghorn's revival.

I remember watching episodes on (I think) YTV in highschool in the nineties. They used to broadcast early afternoon, after my preferred SatAM cartoons. I remember enjoying the show, but I'm not sure how well it'd stand up today.

That would be "Mutton for Nothing". One of my personal favorites.
I was searching for that one to post but no such luck.
Sam actually had a large speaking role in that one, voiced by Jim Cummings as well...
