In case any diehard Friz Freleng fans are interested, the 3 Tweety and Sylvester DVDs that were issued only in Japan are available again in a limited pressing here (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-a7-49-en-70-1n4k.html). Note that you MUST have a region-free DVD player to play these. I just got mine last night and the cartoons are restored to the level of the Golden Collections. The audio is in English. There are Japanese subtitles, but they are easily turned off. Navigating the menus is slightly tricky as they are in Japanese, but there aren't too many options on the main screen so it's pretty easy to figure out. The titles of the cartoons on the "play individually" menu are in both Japanese and English. At about $12.00 per disk including shipping (I live in the Northeast part of the U.S.) they're not a bad deal, but not as good a deal as the LTGCs. Each disc has 10 :tweety: and :sylvester cartoons, and one :bugs2: cartoon. Unfortunately, all the Bugs and some of the Tweety & Sylvesters have already appeared in the LTGCs. "I Love Tweety" Volume 1 contains 7 cartoons not available on any LTGC, Volume 2 has 6, and Volume 3 has 5. Since there was only 1 Tweety cartoon on the last LTGC set, and that was hidden in the bonus features, these discs are satisfying my cravings until next November. Remember, these are useless unless you have a region-free player (if you have to ask, you probably don't).
