Well, the DVDs of my old WKBD shows are coming along very nicely. 13 half-hour shows have been restored so far, and today the first master DVD of 3 Porky Pig and Friends shows came off the assembly line. Using single-layer discs, only 3 shows fit onto a DVD, but there's lots of room for 'extras' - like the Shopping Channel clip - that I'm thinking of adding on as I go along.

For those who want to see them, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the picture quality. Even though these shows come from 20 year-old VHS tapes, I've gotten a clean steady picture with pretty sharp color. My only displeasure right now are the soundtracks. They're clear and easily heard, but they have a hiss noise in the background that came from the tape source. I'd like to seperate the soundtracks and equalize them, but right now there just isn't enough time for it if I ever want to get these done. So if you watch them, don't bother with the surround sound system you have. Just watch them through your TV speaker like we did when these shows first aired. They're more fun that way!

I designed some nice menus, but again time hinders my artistic level (plus I'm not getting paid for this), but they do look classy...

To Dandu and friends - I will post more stuff online for you when I can get the time. This project is taking up all of my time right now. But there are more goodies-a-comin'!

To Tom Stathes - I will make and send to you a DVD of the Shopping channel vid ASAP. I haven't forgotten!
