Here's an interesting animation-related item from Menomonee Falls Guardian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menomonee_Falls_Guardian), a weekly newspaper that printed nothing but comics.
Anyway, Alex Toth, a comic book artist and also an designer for some of the Hanna-Barbera superhero characters like Space Ghost and Birdman, put out an advertisement asking for copies of old comics:

In addition to that, MF Guardian ran Bugs Bunny comic strips. Anyone want to see them?
