I read over at Ultimate Disney, that Disney will offer replacement discs for "More Silly Symphonies" in March. It seems that Disney made a mistake with the title cards from the earliest SS cartoons(since they were supposed to be re-created original title cards, like from previous collections)which used the wrong title cards.I wonder if these replacement discs will also include the correct restored prints(Goddess Of Spring, for example)as well.

There was one strange thing about this collection and I brought this to David's attention, that when viewing "The Cat's Out" on this set, the opening contains the original Columbia Pictures title card, but has the Disney title card instead of the Columbia closing. When this short aired on "The Ink And Paint Club" it was the only b&w SS cartoon that contained the original opening and closing Columbia titles.

Rplacement Discs aren't usually Disney's style; you get what they put out and like it.

However, i live how Disney isn't beating around the bush on the issue like Warner Bros. did (even though there hasn't been any real backlash againt the Silly Symphonies DVD)

They should replace the Rarities set instead of this.

I couldn't care less about SSV.2 (though I'll accept the replacements) but last year's wave (which actually received complaints and criticism) is truly in need of this.

I don't get Disney...
