First of all, allow me to introduce myself.I am a newcomer to this forum. My very first topic, refers to how you can often tell what cartoon company or cartoonist group an animated cartoon comes from,by it's animation, certain sound effects or background music. For instance, when recently viewing"Halloween Night Is Grinch Night",there was one thing I noticed during the scene that began when the Grinch opened up a trap door on top of his wagon, revealing a maze like world of monsters for the boy from Whoville.I noticed how one monster made the exact same sound that a blue bull who had served as an opponent for The Pink Panther had made,in the Pink Panther cartoon titled"Bully For Pink".This was probably due to the fact that DePatie & Freling, who produced The Pink Panther cartoons, had also produced"Halloween Night Is Grinch Night".Another fine example,is how in a lot of the Yogi Bear and Huckleberry Hound cartoons, you hear not only the exact same sound effects, but the very same background music that is heard on The Flintstones.Simply because the first two are Hanna Barbera cartoons just like the latter.:bugs2::daffy:

Well, one sound effect I've heard in different places is a little more mysterious. Apparently, Warner Bros.' famous trombone gobble has gone public domain - not only has it cropped up in such Disney movies as "Aladdin" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", but it was a staple of any "Peanuts" special that involved Charlie Brown trying to kick the football (although that last one's a bit more understandable since Bill Melendez used to work at Warner and probably had connections).
