I would love it if the Warners released a 4-disc set of Blaxploitation-category cartoons (e.g. 1937's "Uncle Tom's Bungalow" and "Clean Pastures," directed respectibly by Tex Avery and Friz Freleng, 1938's "September in the Rain," also by Freleng [the current TV version is way too short], as well as references to Rochester in 1946's "The Mouse-merized Cat" and the 1948 Sylvester/Tweety cartoon "I Taw a Putty Tat.") Anyone suggest???

I REFUSE to believe that Option # 4 ("Hendricks") would EVER be taken here SERIOUSLY!

A tie between the WWII cartoons and the B&Ws. Both of these are in very limited rotation and are hardly known by the public due to their being considerably dated. But if Disney can do it, so could Warner.

Personally, I think a "blaxplotation" set in itself would be rather tasteless, but any of those cartoons released on historical set, chromoligically, on one of the golden collections, or even on "censored cartoons" disk with various other types of censored cartoons would be fine with me. I don't like the idea of people buying a DVD purely to see a group of people exloited, rather I would rather have it marketed for historical purposes. Anyway, in this day and age, such a thing would never happen. We can barely get uncut classics as it is. By all means, in my opinion the "censored 11" and like cartoons should be released, but just more descreetly and for historical purposes. I for sure think EB should release the war time cartoons too. I got my Grandpa Disney's "ON the Front Lines" and he loved it, I'm sure he'd love the WB ones even more. I'd also love to see ugs, Porky and Daffy chronologically, as well as all the MM's, but hopefully the Golden collections will eventrually cover all that.

Snoop Doggy Dogg might buy it. :)
