I buried this question in another thread, so am giving it its own...
I have a super 8 sound print of this cartoon, redrawn with the 60s WB-7 Arts logo. I am not aware of its availability on DVD, and hardly ever see it broadcast.
Does anyone know if it is available? I actually prefer it to the remake with Sylvester (can't think of the title at the moment).

It's in B&W on the PD Cartoon Craze DVD "Porky Pig: Porky's Cafe" released a couple of years ago and still floating around dollar stores and the Rag Shop. Like most Cartoon Craze it's no frills but well worth the dollar if you find it. I don't remember if it is in original B&W or 'de-colorized' like some of the Porky shorts where they turn the color off.

I hate supposed b/w's which are only redrawns with color turned off.
Once in awhile the original b/w Guild print pops up on 16mm.

I don't own that specific tape, but in the other volumes I own from that series, the b/w shorts are all presented in their original form.

And yes, the copy on that DVD is definitely a "de-colorized" one.

Was this cartoon ever shown computer colorized? BTW, I always crack up the ending of the redrawn version where the cats just stand still after the loud crash!!!

I love both "Notes to You" and "Back Alley Oproar" however BAO would be much better with Porky instead of Elmer.
IIRC I saw some colorized version on Youtube..
