Hey folks! I know a number of you (SogTurtle, in particular) collect classic animation cels. I have that Sylvester cel for sale on ebay. Never could pinpoint the exact cartoon, but it's undeniably a Freleng short from the late 50's or early 60's. Anybody want to give it a go?

Cel's gonna need a lot of work done to get it back to shape! Wish I had some extra Xmas cash lying around or I'd get it!

Matthew's Sylvester is really not in bad shape at all... Yes it does need some repair, but it's nothing like some vintage cels where great, huge hunks of the paint are falling (or have fallen) off the back:eek:... My unrepaired one of Clampett's Mr. Meek is a good example of that. [That's getting repaired sometime along with a couple of other great cels:cool:].
For the most EXTREME comparison, I even have a couple of mid-Forties Lantz ones where (due to overly damp weather in Florida:rolleyes: ) the actual cel has crumbled away all around the outside of the image!
And so yeah, Matthew's Sylvester one is in pretty darn good shape!:cool:
