1) Anyone know who the *Union soldier giving the pep talk to the troops is supposed to be a caricature of?? (the same scene that cuts to 4 caricatures of WB insiders)

2) Also, what is the name of the music played when Ned (Elmer) is getting ready to pop the question, before he goes off to war (a hymn melody I believe)
