The ever-striving goal for WB Animation is not to edit their classic (theatrical, 1930-1969) cartoons at all. And that was why the first Looney Tunes Golden Collection was "unrated." Let's hope LTGC2 is unrated, too . . .
Perhaps, they might re-release the first LTGC as well, with all of the slowed-down cartoon victims back at their proper speed . . .

Yeah, they should. The slowed down audio is quite bothersome, annoying, distracting, and totally noticeable.
Or am I just having an episode?

Yeah, they should. The slowed down audio is quite bothersome, annoying, distracting, and totally noticeable. At least it doesn't take anything away from Blanc's voice or Stalling's music. Heck, that might've been the speed that some theaters projected them. Nothing to fuss over, I say.

One thing that jumps out at me about what I might least expect from this follow-up: Censorship! It makes me think of all of the songs we've heard on AM radio from the '70s and '80s: Edited versions kill! Whatever single edits are noticeable, I'll stick to their respective LP versions.
However, watching Big House Bunny (1950) from beginning to end, from LTGC (1), that "noose" scene was restored (sorry, syndicators), and made me think of the early 1979 Styx tune "Renegade."
