Made in France, it was a 1990's version of Tom and Jerry. Oggy is a mild mannered and naive cat who lives in "just another house" from outside but inside it is miles long and has endless rooms and staircases to fall down. His cousin Jack is a red neck aggresive cat. The cockroaches; Joey, Mikey and Dee Dee are homicidal maniacs. Next door lives a very big dog who doesn't like getting blown up. The plot is that anything can happen and the stranger, the better. There was over 150 cartoons of about 7 minutes each.

I remember it being pretty cool, not sure why there isn't a DVD release for this yet around here (it has though in France).

I remember this. I used to watch it on Fox Family (before it got renamed ABC Family).
I also saw it in Cartoon Network Japan.

5 discs, each with 12 episodes on were released in the US about five years ago.
I remember seeing a site where you could download most of them from. About 30 MB each. With my poor internet, that is about 4 hours. One site I came across just now for those of you who have broadband:

I pretty much downloaded 'em already.
Oggy & the Cockroaches was a personal favorite of mine.
I caught it every weekday morning at 5 AM when I used to work early.
I picked up Volume 1 & 2 on DVD.
They come with 4 episodes made up of 3 cartoons each.
I liked the other show this company worked on as well, "Space Goofs".

Studio Toledo. You're lucky. France has some of the fastest internet in the world, but where I live, it's 1-3 kbs, and even peters out sometimes. It could take me 5 hours to download a single cartoon.

Heh, I know I'm lucky. Lately I've been using that to great advantage by injecting my knowledge and visuals to clue in the masses!
Below is an image of what I was clocking just minutes ago!

I'm envious. 4 years ago when I lived in the UK, I could download a megabyte in 6 seconds on a good site.
The trouble is that where I live now, I'm in the middle of nowhere and there is no reason to install broadband here so it could take years before I get decent internet. Then again, I've got views people would drive 20 miles for and the only noise here is the birds whistling.

There are times I wouldn't mind moving out to a place like that as long as I felt I would still get the best possible services I need. One of these days I might move to France just for that! :D
