I wonder what Boomerang will do with all the "cartoon network" logos frequent throughout the show. I hope they keep them and all the 'Bill Murray' inbetweens.
Thank you Martin, this is very good news!:sailor:

Boomerang usually lets the CN logos slip by in other old shows, IIRC. No worries.

Yeah! The Popeye Show will be back soon. Now if they would only bring back The Bob Clampett Show I'd feel a whole lot better.

If anyone hasn't seen this show, it's highly recommended. Great cartoons!

December 4th is on a Monday. Who's going to be up during the week that early? Looks like the VCR's gonna get a workout.
Incidentally, how many VHS tapes will it take to record all the shows?

CN and Boomerang would be wise to start publicizing Popeye now to gain exposure and re-generate interest in him for the upcoming DVD release. And showing him in black and white is the best way to do it. But they have to be brave enough to put it on at a time when most people can see it.

You can fit 5 episodes a tape thus 45 recordings over 9 tapes, allowing 1 unrestored Popeye on each tape that will most likely follow the airings.
This is all in best quality SP mode that is.:tweety:
