OK---after a vehicle crash- there was a fueltruck leak--causing a huge backup of traffic- and a fear of an explosion--it's all been remedied and traffic in Burbank back to normal.

Oh, I hope everything is going to be alright in the end, because my dream is work at Disney and work on the animated features and also try to put an end to the "Walt's gone, lets do stuff he wouldn't allow us to do" types of projects.

You've got a lot to learn about the animation business...especially Disney! You draw what the suits tell you to draw. :D

Either that or you end up like John Kricfaluci...he doesn't seem to get too much in the way of steady work in the industry.

I guess you're right. However, I'm still not going to like doing these projects. I also can't draw the characters very well, yet!

If that's the case, you might want to begin in television animation!

I actually am planning to work at a community collage art school that is here in Columbus next year, so I'm hoping my skills will improve someday.

That's a good idea...the best advice I can offer is to learn to draw many things well, not just cartoons or the "Disney Style" of artwork. Many people learning to draw (myself included), focus too narrowly on a particular type of drawing. I wish you the best of luck in becoming an animator. :)

You might also want to look into art schools such as the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California or Sheridan in Canada. Most of the people in the animation business today seem to come from those two schools. The Rhode Island School of Design (in Rhode Island, of course) and UCLA in southern California also have animation classes of note.
