I've noticed that, on the Looney Tunes screen for the redrawn Porky's Road Race, the font used for "Looney Tunes" is NOT the font used for the other cartoons with Fat Porky intros, but for the cartoons with "Porky Facing Left" intros. Did the original cartoon air with the opening using this font, or did the people who redrew the cartoon somehow mix the Fat Porky titles with the Porky Facing Left titles when tracing over the original animation cells?

I would like to see a copy of this redrawn, but I think the Koreans are a little lazy when it comes to titles, check out what they did to the Betty Boop cartoons...

It's just a mistake when the colorization was done in Korea -- there are several other redrawn LTs, including "The Village Smithy" and "Porky Pig's Feat" that received the wrong lettering from the guy over in Korea who was photographing the redrawn images ("Porky's Road Race" was even weirder when it first showed up in syndication, with both the 1967-68 Warner Bros./7 Arts opening and closing titles and Bill Lava theme music. But it was where most people back in the 1970s heard Lava's full modern version of "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down" for the first time).

Being reminded of "Betty Book and the Little King" and how ugly and mis-aligned they were, let along if ever there was a shot of Betty doing her walk in the intro they can't even bother to animate most of it.

They were just a terrible waste of money, plan and simple, yet the TV stations still aired 'em.

Being reminded also of the gaffe in the redrawn of Porky's Road Race where they don't even have a moving background for a shot showing the cars going up a hill diagonally, resulting in a static background that makes it look like they're just standing there in place and moving about.
