Carl Birkmeyer of http://www.wouldyoubelieve.com/, has announced on the GET SMART Yahoo message board that ROCKY & BULLWINKLE writer Chris Hayward died recently. Additional details and obit notices are pending.

In addition to R&B, Mr. Hayward was a writer for GET SMART, CRUSADER RABBIT, BARNEY MILLER, developed THE MUNSTERS, and also worked as a producer on BARNEY MILLER.

Sad news. He's responsible for some great comedy. I love the early Get Smarts.

Wow - Get Smart, The Munsters, and (one of my faves) Barney Miller, as well as Rocky & Bullwinkle - quite a talent!:cool:
