Pretty Boy Bagle

Hi Gang,

Does anyone know about Pretty Boy Bagle? His name was a play on Pretty Boy Floyd (a noted 1930s-40s gangster) and beagle, a breed of dog.

PBB was the gangster that was seen in the 1950 Porky Pig cartoon "An Egg Scramble," which also featured Prissy Hen (who was battling over whether or not she laid the egg that surprisingly had her daughter at the end), who herself had typically been seen in some Foghorn Leghorn shorts.

Actually, this was the first appearance of Miss Prissy. She would appear in Foghorn Leghorn toons after this cartoon.

I love Miss Prissy and how she relates (or doesn't relate) to Foggy! Chuckling a bit... One of the things I remember about Pretty Boy Floyd is that he was given that nickname by a ummmmm "lady of the evening":eek: who thought he was incredibly handsome!
