Welcome to this week's Greatest Warner Bros. Cartoon Poll.

What is this you ask? Read these directions below:

Starting in this thread, someone picks their favorite Warner cartoon from a category, I will list. The person will pick their favorite cartoon from that specific category. The cartoon mentioned in the thread the most will make it to the semi-finals (which I will post in poll-form), and if really successful to the actual finals (with will also be in poll-form)

Rules:

These threads will be posted every Thursday. Only I or one of the other GAC moderators will post them.
You may only post one favorite cartoon
The general GAC rules still apply
This week's category: Your favorite Warner Bros. cartoon from the dawn of the 1940s (1941-43)

(Personally, my favorite from this period is "Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs" but your opinions may differ...)

It's a toss-up between The Dover Boys and A Tale of Two Kitties.

Finally an easy one for me!

My favorite from this time period, without a doubt, would be, COAL BLACK.:sowhite:

I'll have to go with my favorite Clampett, Falling Hare , which just edges out Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarves. Honorable mention to two great Jones shorts, Case of the Missing Hare and Wakiki Wabbit.

This is hard, but I think I'll go with "Rhapsody In Rivets".

Runners up:
"The Aristo-Cat"
"Pigs In A Polka"
"Coal Black And De Sebben Dwarfs"
"The Dover Boys"
"A Tale Of Two Kitties"
"Scrap Happy Daffy"
"Porky Pig's Feat"
"Wackiki Wabbit"
"My Favorite Duck"
"The Heckling Hare"
"Fresh Hare"

Man, is this tough...

Ok, my candidates are:

Yankee Doodle Daffy
Porky Pig's Feat
Coal Black and de Sebben Dwarfs
Wackiki Wabbit
A Wild Hare
Wabbit Twouble
The Wacky Wabbit

And the winner, even though it's public domain, overplayed and basically a Daffy sing-fest is:

Yankee Doodle Daffy

I just love all those songs and antics...

Regards,
Jeff

I think my favorites from that given period would have to be between Clampett's "Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid" and Jones' "The Aristo-Cat". If I get only one choice though, I'll go with "Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid"...that's an excellent cartoon.

Oh god, so many of them. :bugs2: and:befuddled are among the best ones like "Fresh Hare" "The Wabbit That Came to Supper" "Hare-Brained Hypnotist" and "Wabbit Twouble". Can't forget "Coal Black and De Sebben Dwarfs" nor "To Duck or Not To Duck". I'll see in a day or two.

:daffy: I would have to say Daffy Duck in The Great Piggy Bank Robbery. That is a tough call though.:daffy:

"I would have to say Daffy Duck in The Great Piggy Bank Robbery."

That came out 1946 which would qualify for the next poll.

Sorry.
