Stephen Colbert himself said it tonight. Daffy is one of his favourite characters. I guess he can't be all bad even though he has nuclear bomb capabilities and a beef with the free world. (Maybe he's even visited GAC once or twice. )

Is this the Stephen Colbert who was mocked with hungarian historical persons when we made an internet poll to give name to our new bridge? Very pathetic.

Why is it everytime I hear of Kim Jong or North Korea I picture that marching they do over there and immediately start hearing "Der Fuerer's Face" play in my head?

And why is it a surprise he likes :daffy:, wouldn't he relate?

I read that Kim Jong Il is a big Looney Tunes fan and owns a big collection of the cartoons. Meanwhile, his country is a large prison, and his people are starving and can't own TVs that pick up anything except North Korean TV (which probably shows only Communist propaganda).

Hopefully this won't change anyone's opinion of Kim Jong Il or Daffy Duck.;)

Yeah, I think most TV sets used in N. Korea are in PAL or non-NTSC standard, and might not pick up the stations south of the 38th parallel for those that live close to it (unless such a compliant set doesn't get smuggled up there).

Well I guess it's better that he's a fan of Daffy Duck, instead of being a fan of "The Brain" on "Pinky and the Brain."
