Can you tell me what kind of soundtracks on them?

I've seen silent cartoons presented with various types
- some have sound effects, others just have ragtime piano.

Sure! Some of them have the SFX/Music tracks done by Official Films in the late 40s. These are easy to identify because they use the same songs over and over again.
Others have soundtracks done by Copley in the early 30s, and the rest have drop-needle music. A half-dozen titles or so do not have accompaniment because I was unable to add the music.

Really? I think it's very efficient. Buyers have pretty good protection through it.
