Not sure how possible it is, but do you know if some of the discussions that were on TTTP will be moved over to here? There were a couple interesting threads like the Golden Collection Vol 2 Extras and Boxart that I was keeping track of...

I agree. It's really a shame to lose all those old posts (Searching often provided me a wealth of old conversations that answered my questions).

I guess Jon and co. must have looked at the ability to migrate users and forums and considered it was not worth the porting effort? But the forums are similar enough (in look at least) that I would have thought the underlying DB is probably using the same schema....

Ah well, it will be a little awkward this week and then the ol' TZ TTTP will fade out and everything will be here in terms of community and we can generate our own memories...

Hopefully Brian keeps the TZ TTTP up for awhile though.

Unfortunately there's no vb3 to vb3 importer, and the database is so large that it would have been a huge strain on the server to do it even if it was possible. The TTTP archive will exist as long as the TZ forums do.

The Toon Zone TTTP will always be up as an archive of posts from April 2001 to August 2004, but nobody can post there.

As for Golden Collection 2 discussions, you can just start a new thread here.

Yeah, I say let's start a new thread with a link to the TTTP original thread, and we'll continue the discussion here.

In fact, if you look in the "News and Events" forum there are already are 2 threads about the GC2 here (http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/showthread.php?t=52) and here (http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/showthread.php?t=70).

Makes it a little more confusing now but I can deal with it...
