Pretty-O.T.: Gene Colan meets WB

I know this is pretty O-T, but yesterday was the 80th birthday of one of the great "Silver Age" superhero comic book artists, Gene Colan. I bring this up at this forum because Colan did do at least two commissioned drawings that might be of interest here:

The guy's a master, even though the two drawing styles are oil & water, IMHO. My Apologies if these have been brought up here before.

Man, and I thought I was the only one who had a great appreciation for Gene Colan! I have a huge stash of comics-and always adding to it- and whenever I see his stuff, it stands out.
