Chuck Jones and Day Of The Tentacle

I was searching infos about this game, and I saw this notice in an italian site:

"Il marketing della Lucasarts, già da allora con le idee piuttosto confuse, decise di chiedere a Chuck Jones (per i meno cinefili, è stato uno dei padri di Bugs Bunny e l'ideatore di Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote) di scrivere qualche interessante considerazione sul gioco. Jones lo fece, ma al momento di stamparla sulla scatola ci fu un dietro-front: "Ripensandoci, nessuno sa chi sia Chuck Jones". Come giustamente sostiene Grossman, si sarebbe potuto scrivere qualche info ulteriore sulla scatola....la logica, questa sconosciuta!"

Lucasarts told to Chuck Jones to write some considerations about this game, he did. But his considerations were not included on the box. Because Mr. Grossman (probably the boss of Lucasarts) said that no one knows Chuck Jones in that years.

That's interesting. But the decision of not including Chuck's thoughts about the game came from the marketing direction of LucasArts, and not Dave Grossman, who actually was the game designer of "Day of the Tentacle" and definitely wanted to have Jones' words on the box of the game.
Being a lifetime fan of LucasArts graphic adventures, I remember this one well. It's one of the best and most cartoony of them!
