In the segment in the film "Anchors Aweigh" where Gene Kelly dances with Jerry, who animated what? Specifically, at the end where Jerry says "Lookit me! I'm dancin'!", then the camera cuts to a wider shot as Kelly starts pirouetting.

I don't know who did the forest animals, but this is what I can tell with Jerry...

- Everything from Jerry sitting glumly on the throne to "Ya see! It's easy!" : Ken Muse

- Jerry walking with Kelly down the hall to him catching Jerry on his arm : Ed Barge

- Kelly bouncing Jerry on his 'muscles' to "Look at me! I'm dancin'!" : Ray Patterson

- Kelly spinning leg to the end : Ken Muse

Hmm, Dave, you gave me a good idea for an upcoming blog post! :jerry:

Thad, are you sure it's Barge? I just watched this segment a few days ago and this little bit of me thought I saw some animation by Michael Lah in there. Then again, Anchors Aweigh was released in 1945 and Lah didn't start working on T&J until 1946. I'll have to watch it again.

I loved Jerry stopping in mid-air to watch Kelly dance. That little bit by Patterson is my favorite part of the entire sequence.

I'm not sure if it's Lah... It looked way too 'cute' so I assumed it was Barge, but I could be wrong.

It's hard to tell because the processing on Jerry in some of these scenes renders him fuzzy with this blue tint. Like I said, I'm going to watch it again.

Sometime when it's just Jerry the animators are really hard to tell apart.
