O.k. Foxy and Roxy appeared in the first Merrie Melodies in 1931. They later appeared in a Tiny Toon Adventures episode (with Goopy Geer) And Foxy and Roxy were dramatically redesigned.
So which Foxy and Roxy Style is your favorite??

Personally I don't think anybody could top the classic Rudy Ising Mickey-parody design of the original Foxy and Roxy. So from my perspective it goes easily to the original, though I was thrilled to see any kind of revival of them (or of Bosko and Honey).

(I had a girlfriend once named Roxy but that's a wholly different tale;)).

I think the Tokyo Movie Shinsa designs of Foxy, Roxy, and Goopy Geer were redone from the originals in order to avoid any Disney lawsuits. After all, the characters are fairly obscure, and they bear a striking resemblance to Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy, respectively. From a historical perspective, I prefer the Harman-Ising look - the TMS designs are too angular and modern for characters created in 1931.

From what I understand, the whole "Two-Tone Town" episode ended up serving as an allegory for "Tiny Toon Adventures" itself - it talks about Foxy, Roxy, and Goopy Geer being pushed aside in favor of the more successful Looney Tunes characters, and in the end, Buster and Babs do such a good job of reviving the characters' careers that they get their own show that takes TTA's timeslot. Less than a year later, TTA was cancelled, and "Animaniacs" showed up - starring three central characters who bore a strong resemblance to the 1930s-era characters that Foxy, Roxy, and Goopy Geer were actually a part of. Coincidence? Maybe.

Simply comparing the two, I like the Tiny Toons version better. The original Foxy and his significant other weren't very attractive, imo.
If they were to do a new Looney Tunes short/movie with Foxy and Roxy, I think it'd be best to "merge" the two style together - not make them so anime-like and get rid of the large teeth.

I would prefer Harmon/Ising's design from a historical perspective just like J.B. Warner. But the "Tiny Toon" designs look a little more original rather than plain rip-offs.
