I am looking for a specific cartoon where there was a tiny pink elephant roaming the city and creating havoc. There is one shot i need where there was a view of a newspaper clipping and a frightened guy, with the headlines reading
"i seen it".

You're talking about the 1953 Chuck Jones Warner Bros. cartoon "Punch Trunk"... Somebody should be able to make you a frame-grab...

Also, the cartoon had nothing to do with Bugs. It was a one-shot.

I think this is what you are looking for.

He might be confusing the plot of "Punch Trunk" with "Hobo Bobo" (where the baby elephant paints himself pink and wanders around the big city). But, yeah, it sounds like he was really looking for "Punch Trunk".

The miniture pink elephant cartoon was shown during the Bugs Bunny show although it didn't have any known cartoon characters in it. At one stage the tiny elephant is in a bird bath and squirts water at one of the birds when it starts to complain. I don't recall the cartoon being called "punch drunk", maybe this one was a later version.
