View Full Version : OT:1950 version of "Treasure Island"

I'm thinking of purchasing the DVD of the 1950 Disney adaptation of "Treasure Island", with Bobby Driscoll. Can anyone recommend it? I'm specifically interested in knowing if the DVD has the original RKO title. Further, is it uncut? I've heard a rumor that the film has been edited.

It has the original titles and is uncut.

Wonderful transfer, too. The first reel's camera negative has been lost, but it still looks good. The rest of the film is stunning. It also has a 5.1 remix (no original mono, though). Too bad it has no supplemental material.
