On a recent thread of mine, my dear friend Larry T observed this about his copy of "Porky the Wrestler" :

"While watching it one day, I heard two odd jump cuts in the soundtrack during the wrestling sequence and know for a fact that Stalling would never have composed it that way. Seeing as the Looney Tunes did not get the Axe treatment the same way the Blue Ribbons did, this said to me that something had happened to the cartoon. Not only that, the running time of the version we are familiar with including credits is only 6:05, a lot shorter than the cartoons normally were in that year. I asked Mark Kausler about this a few years back and he replied, "There are two gags missing from that cartoon"."

Now I'm wondering Larry, could you please describe the correct minutes and seconds in the cartoon when you hear them jump cuts?
I could soon get a copy of this cartoon and I'm wondering if that will be uncut or not.

Is there the remote possibility that Mr. Kausler also desribed WHICH gags were cut in the majority of the available copies of this cartoon?

Larry my friend, did you read this thread... .

Anyway, I do not want to have it too personal.
So if anyone else got Larry's feelings while watching this short, please do let me know when you felt a cut in the cartoon.
