Elmer Fudd or Yosimite Sam

Who do you like better, Elmer Fudd or Yosimite Sam?

I like Elmer Fudd better. He is much funnier, I like many of his cartoons better than many of Yosimite Sam's cartoons, and Elmer appeared in way more cartoons without Bugs Bunny than Yosimite Sam.

But I must admit that Sam, as a foil for Bugs, works very very nice.

Sam, by a landslide. Elmer is too dull and lacking in personality. Could anyone imagine Elmer playing a pirate, desert sheik, black knight, or any of the other characters that Sam did?

Elmer and Sam are two totally different characters so it is difficult to compare between the two.

A bit like Sylvester chosing between Tweety-Pie and Speedy Gonzales in who he would prefer to eat.

Both characters were very good in their own way.

I thought they were great when they appeared in the same cartoon.

Oh, I like Sam.... there's just not a whole lot you can do with Elmer besides have him run around looking like an idiot.

Besides, every time I see Sam in action I can't help but imagine I'm watching Friz Freleng himself. :)
