When chosing a favourite Daffy Duck cartoon most people would go for Duckamuc.

My personal favourite is Along Came Daffy.

My least favourite is The Stupid Cupid from around the same period with Elmer Fudd with the bow and arrows

Well, I think that pretty much every Daffy toon from 1937 to 1961 is awesome. But, my personal favourite is Book Revue (by Bob Clampett c. 1946). I'd love to make a cartoon similar to that some day.

Baby Bottleneck is my all-time favorite Daffy Duck short. Clampett was really getting a handle on Daffy by this time, and it's such a shame that the last films he did defined the character so perfectly.

I am also really fond of:

Daffy Duck and Egghead
Porky's Last Stand
My Favorite Duck
Tom Turk & Daffy
The Stupid Cupid
Draftee Daffy
Book Revue
The Great Piggy Bank Robbery
Along Came Daffy
Mexican Joyride
What Makes Daffy Duck
Daffy Duck Slept Here
You Were Never Duckier
Daffy Dilly
The Stupor Salesman
Wise Quackers
Daffy Duck Hunt
The Scarlet Pumpernickel
His Bitter Half
Golden Yeggs
The Prize Pest
The Super Snooper
Muscle Tussle
Deduce You Say
Ducking the Devil

Daffy is easily my favorite cartoon character of all-time, and these shorts really exemplify this fact!

Along with Pepe Le Pew, Daffy is my favourite LT character. It's impossible to choose a particular favourite Daffy cartoon, but the ones I do enjoy watching are (in no particular order):

Daffy Duck & Egghead
Riff Raffy Daffy
The Stupor Salesman
The Daffy Doc
Robin Hood Daffy
Porky & Daffy
The Great Piggy Bank Robbery
Book Revue
Wise Quackers
The Scarlet Pumpernickel
Duck Amuck
Baby Bottleneck
Scrap Happy Daffy
Draftee Daffy
Nasty Quacks
Daffy Duck Slept Here
The Ducksters
The Hunting Triology (especially "Duck! Rabbit! Duck!")

I'm going to split it into two.

For the crazy Daffy I'd pick The Great Piggy Bank Robbery.

For the flawed little black duck Daffy I'd pick Duck Amuck.
I just love this character. I have sympathy for him.

Unfortunately Daffy's personality went too angy to me.
I don't like how he's portrayed in Showbiz Bugs (he's almost yelling like he's Yosemite Sam)
or the Depatie-Freleng stuff.

I'd also have to put in Dripalong Daffy as an honorable mention.
I'm just loving this cartoon right now.
When the new Golden Collection comes out, I'll probably have a new favorite.

Ooh boy, I can't go with just one Daffy cartoon. I'll probably go with my ten favorite Daffy cartoons:

Book Revue
The Great Piggy Bank Robbery
Scrap Happy Daffy
Holiday for Drumsticks
Boobs in the Woods (one of the last cartoons where Daffy is truly daffy)
Mexican Joyride
Daffy Duck in Hollywood
Deduce, You Say
Duck Dodgers in the 24th 1/2 Century
The Ducksters

It really is impossible to pick just one. I happen to like "The Stupid Cupid" though, unlike the poster above. That cartoon's just hilarious with Elmer frolicing around like a tinkerbell and the part where Daffy twiddles his lips is classic :daffy:

I also like "Muchos Locos," despite the fact that I don't like the series with Speedy in general. It was good to see Daffy finally win a battle with the annoying mouse.

Plane Daffy

If only to create an opportunity to praise Frank Tashlin.

This one's got everything you could ask for in a 1940s Golden Age cartoon: crazy Daffy, blurry-fast action, aggressive music score, sexy babe, self-inflicted gunshot fatalities... and Hitler!

"Well what do you know... the little light... it stays on!"

My "favorite" varies from time to time, but Daffy remains my all-time favorite Warner Brothers character.

"Duck Amuck" is certainly right up there - but it's really only funny if you've already been exposed to Daffy's character (and Bugs') through previous Looney Tunes.

I love "Book Revue," "Ali Baba Bunny" (I am a happy miser!), "The Great Piggy Bank Robbery," "Duck! Rabbit! Duck!" and so many more.

I kind of "bugs" me (pun intended) that Tweety & the Roadrunner have gotten DVDs devoted to them while Daffy has still not have a single DVD he can call his own.

Difficult to chose. Tom Turk and Daffy, Robin Hood Daffy, Beanstalk Bunny, Fool Coverage, and Duck Rabbit Duck are my top five, I don't think I can narrow it down any further.
