I found a drawing from the Tom and Jerry cartoon Mouse in Manhattan. Could this be the original title card?

Thats part of a limited run series of hand painted giclee cels.

I really doubt that was the original title card art, guys. It looks like it was created just for the limited edition cel...

That is NOT the original title card. Note the reissued title card art in the lefthand corner. Jon is absolutely right.
UGH, I can't stand that cel. Do any professionals working with Tom and Jerry even know how to draw these characters anymore? No ones seems to be able to capture that vintage T&J look anymore, let alone make the characters look anything like the way guys like Muse, Patterson or Spence used to draw them.
I mean...look at my own (freehand, non-referenced) drawings...

...which I'll admit arent fantastic and were done almost 5 years ago, but I still think they're better than a lot of official art nowadays.

They're good, but if I must make some sort of criicim they seem a bit squat... too wide in proportion to height, especially Tom. Still a lot better than anything I could do, though. :)
