View Full Version : Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss (and me!)
The genius who created lovable characters such as the Cat in the Hat and the Grinch would be 102 today. Theodore Geisel better known by his pen name Dr. Seuss wrote the book for which the WB cartoon HORTON HATCHES THE EGG is based on. He also worked with WB on the PRIVATE SNAFU shorts. One of the shorts, SPIES shows his talent in rhyming and poetry which he had used in over 100 famous short stories which are still being read by children today.
Also, I am 15 today!:)

Hey, happy birthday to you both!
Man, when you were born I was enjoying those massive two-hour blocks of WB and MGM cartoons on the Turner networks. I learned of the outbreak of the Gulf War from a crawl across the bottom of the screen during a TNT airing of MY FAVORITE DUCK. :)
When Dr. Seuss was born I was, um.... uh.... hmm.
