Last Saturday, my dad turned on TCM to find a series of B/W Christmas cartoons. Was this Cartoon Alley's holiday entry? I'd like to see this. I haven't seen a single episode of Cartoon Alley ever since I started volunteering for the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (shameless plug).

It was:
Cartoon Alley #24 Features three Christmas-themed cartoons: The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives (Warner Bros. - 1933), Bedtime for Sniffles (Warner Bros. - 1940), Good Will to Men (MGM - 1955).
Next week:
Cartoon Alley #2 Features three MGM Christmas-themed cartoons: The Pups' Christmas (1936), Peace on Earth (1939), The Night Before Christmas (1941).
Go to TCM's website to find out what else is on the schedule.;)
Is that museum you work at the one the Mort Walker is involved in?

No, Mort Walker's cartoon museum is in the Empire State Building somewhere. I don't even know if that's open. My museum is in Soho, just below Houston St. Stop by on a Saturday. ;)

Did Shanty air uncut?
Yes, Nelson. It did. The print looked and sounded great.

I checked the TCM schedule, and this was the only time I could have seen Cartoon Alley #24. :(
And I wanted to see me some rare early 30's Warner toons too. :bosko: :honey: :buddy:
