Damn. I was just coming over here to divulge the bad news. Looks like i was beaten to the punch again, but i digress.

First Kiki's Delivery Serivce, Then Udnerdog Underdog, Then the Smurfs, then Voltron, Now This. How much more classic material (whether it be Japanese Children's Books, Animation, Comics, or Puppets ) does Hollywood need to ruin?

I thought this was going to be a direct-to-video (if it does get made)? I don't really trust the IMDB listing (especially since Jerry Juhl has passed away and Jerry Nelson is semi-retired from the Muppets). Anybody got a more reliable source?

In the a September 2005 issue of the Hollywood Reporter, they said that this was indeed coming. Keep in mind that Jerry Juhl is not credited as a writer on the film, but as a co-creator. They are trying to get Jerry Nelson back for this movie, too. Come on, I'm sure you guys cut "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland" at least SOME slack, so give this movie a chance. It's a sequel/continuation, not a remake.
